National Volunteer Week celebrates the power of giving back. At Fellowship Square Historic Mesa, resident Gary Smith leads the "Back to the Garden" volunteer program, which encourages seniors to stay active and connected through roles like companion visits, dining help, and event planning. Volunteering improves wellness, provides opportunity, and builds community. With 123 volunteers and growing, Gary's goal is to get 50% of residents involved.
