Director of Assisted Living
As the Assisted Living Director for The Oasis at Fellowship Square of Surprise, I am looking forward to providing opportunities for our residents and our associates to be involved, engaged and well-nurtured. I have worked with seniors for nearly 26 years now. You could say this is truly what I was called to do! I began my career as a receptionist and worked my way to becoming the Administrator, and eventually a Regional Director for a local home health care company.
Senior living has changed so much over the past couple decades. While it’s natural to be conflicted about moving to assisted living, at The Oasis, our community is not just a place where a resident is solely cared for their medical needs. Senior living of today encompasses mental, emotional, spiritual and medical aspects. We truly embrace a more humanistic approach to caring for our residents. When you move into The Oasis, you won’t be known for your diagnosis. Although that’s important, it doesn’t define you. Moving into our community, we want to get to know you on a personal level. What you did for a living, where you were born, and the size of your family, your hobbies…all of these things are important to you. Therefore, they’re important to us. I would love the opportunity to meet with you and answer any questions you have about The Oasis. But I would most enjoy the chance to get to know you and your life story. I look forward to joining you on your journey as the next chapter in your life unfolds. I consider that one of the greatest honors of my life.
