Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Independent Living? It is individual apartments for seniors who want to live in a community that supports their independence. Our community is designed for senior or disabled adults who want a lifestyle that reduces stress and adds quality to everyday living. Independent Living is for individuals who need just a little bit of help with things that have begun to present a challenge to them – like driving, meal preparation, housekeeping or feelings of isolation and boredom.

How many types of apartments do you have? With 415 apartments, we have a variety of ten spacious floor plans to choose from to meet your needs. We have apartments ranging from studios to 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. We also have Select apartments available that include washers/dryers, recessed lighting and additional features like upgraded counter tops and fixtures. You can speak to a Leasing Consultant to arrange a private tour and find the perfect apartment for your needs.

Are your prices competitive? Very and it is important to note that our rates are not simply for rent. Our rates include a wide range of amenities and services including monthly dining dollars, housekeeping, security, emergency response system, assurance checks, social and recreational programs, fitness programs, transportation, utilities and maintenance.  Check out our affordability calculator.

How does Independent Living help families? For the families of our residents, we offer peace of mind. When their loved one is here at Fellowship Square, they can feel good knowing that they are in a safe, comfortable and caring Christian environment. With dining, housekeeping, security, home health services, transportation and a wide range of activities as well as fellowship opportunities, they can rest easy knowing that these important services are all available to them. In addition, our services can free families up from medical appointment transportation and other errands and tasks so that the time they spend with their aging loved one is quality time.

What about care for someone who needs more help than you can offer in Independent Living? At some point in time, an individual may find it difficult to succeed in an independent living environment. When this happens, we can look at adding supportive services such as home health care or if needed, moving to our top-notch Assisted Living Community – the Oasis. With so many of our aging population struggling with dementia, our Reflections memory care unit is also available to address those special needs.

Home Health - Home Health is for times when even the most independent individual needs extra help. Our home health services are Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission. We offer services that can be added on to the amenities already provided in independent living including things like medication management, showering/dressing assistance, assurance checks and more. Services are provided in your own apartment.

Assisted Living at the Oasis – Our assisted-living apartments (studio and one bedroom) are ideal for individuals who require some assistance with activities of daily living like showering/dressing assistance. These apartments feature private baths with walk-in showers, kitchenettes and room for those special belongings that make one feel at home.

Memory Care – Reflections – Memory support offers an environment as welcoming and comforting as it is safe. We offer a program of activities to help residents remain connected and engaged. Our certified caregivers have an in-depth knowledge of the specific needs of those with memory impairment, providing both patience and compassion to help your loved one feel understood.
