From Heath Van Gysel,
Director of Assisted Living, Oasis & Manor 2
In this continuously changing environment, we want to assure each one of our residents and their families that we are adhering to COVID-19 guidelines set by local, state and federal agencies.
On 11/27/2020, the community spread level for Maricopa County increased over 10%, which moves the county from the level of Moderate Community Spread to Substantial Community Spread. This increase brings about additional restrictions set forth by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) that we must adhere to immediately.
Please click on the link below to read Heath's complete letter regarding these changes. A copy of a 'Designated Essential Visitor' form can be found on page 3 of the announcement.
What this means for visitation
'Designated Essential Visitors' will now have to obtain a COVID-19 negative test result twice a week, until the community spread level is reduced back to Moderate or Minimal. We will keep you updated regarding the community spread levels along with any changes in required testing.
Once the spread level is moved back to Moderate or Minimal, we will resume the use of outdoor visitation and the use of communal areas.
We are committed to ensuring you can continue to communicate with your loved one during this time. Please contact us to schedule virtual visits or to discuss the additional methods of communications available.
Once again, thank you for your patience, trust, and ongoing communication with us.
Sincerely, Heath Van Gysel, RN
Director of Assisted Living
