OASIS, Assisted Living Manager
Michelle became a born again Christian at 15 and shortly after started her career at 16 years old as a bed maker and feeder aide at a nursing home in Port Huron, MI. She started supervising other nurse's aides at 18. In 1995, while working in nursing homes she decided to become a pharmacy technician. She worked in hospitals, retail pharmacies, and nursing homes for 4 years while navigating the waitlist for nursing school. After becoming a licensed practical nurse, she was able to spend time in various settings but the one she kept going back to was assisted living. She married her husband in 2005 and moved several times before moving to Tucson. Michelle and her husband, Joe, enjoy going to church, Christian concerts, baseball games and spending time with family and their dogs & cats. She feels very blessed to be here at Fellowship Square and looks forward to enjoying a length tenure here.
Since becoming a resident four years ago, Fellowship Square has met my physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs beautifully. I enjoy participating in supervised fitness activities, discussion groups and long-distance fieldtrips sponsored by Fellowship Square.
Bus transportation is available for grocery shopping, trips to banks and appointments. Housekeeping support is provided twice a month. The prompt responses to small maintenance issues are much appreciated by residents. We’re grateful that security personnel are available 24 hours daily. Excellent dining services meet our diverse dietary needs. Personal assistance is also available to those who require additional resident services.
The outdoor environment at Fellowship Square is especially appealing to me because of the plentiful trees, shrub, flowers, birds, pools, fountains and shaded ramadas. So, why not make plans, NOW, to broaden your horizons, develop new friendships, and share your experiences and interests with others.
