Senior Living and COVID-19
Deciding when to begin your search for a retirement community can be difficult. Seniors and their families naturally have many questions. During these unprecedented times, new questions arise.
During your search, it is crucial to ask how the senior living community addresses the pandemic and what they are doing to keep their residents safe. The information they provide will give you a sense of how responsive and prepared the management and staff are in an emergency.
Here at Fellowship Square Surprise, the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and all families is our highest priority. From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued to closely follow guidelines set forth by the CDC, AZDHS, and Maricopa County Department of Public Health.
Updated Mask Guidance
Independent Living
Effective Monday, April 1, 2022, masks will be optional in our Independent Living settings. Visitors and staff will no longer be required to sign in and complete a health screening.
Assisted Living
Masks are still required in Assisted Living, regardless of vaccination status. Additionally, Assisted Living visitors and staff will still be required to check-in and complete a health screening before entry.
It is important to note, that these policies are subject to change with or without notice, should an outbreak of COVID-19 reoccur, or updated guidelines change, further restrictions may be reinstated.
