Fitness & Exercise for Seniors
Staying physically active plays a key role in maintaining independence, strength, and mobility. Our fitness and exercise offerings at Fellowship Square Historic Mesa are designed to meet residents where they are, ensuring a personalized, approachable experience.
Residents can take advantage of one-on-one fitness instruction, group exercise classes, and educational sessions focused on safe movement and long-term wellness. Our fitness trainers collaborate with residents’ physicians to create personalized programs that align with individual health needs and goals.
This program is available to residents at no additional cost, and participation continues to grow thanks to strong results. Residents regularly share improvements in endurance, balance, and overall mobility - proof that consistent movement really does make a difference.
In addition to classes and personalized training, we use advanced movement screening to better understand how residents move and where added support may help.
Advanced Movement & Balance Screening with Kinetisense
Staying steady and confident starts with understanding how your body moves. Kinetisense supports our fitness program by providing a detailed look at balance, posture, and walking patterns, helping residents stay proactive about their mobility.
This markerless 3D movement analysis system evaluates stability and movement quality in just a few minutes. Residents simply move naturally during the assessment while the system captures objective data. No sensors or wearable equipment required!
Assessments take place in the Fitness Room in the Center Community Building and are available to residents at no cost. Results are used to personalize fitness plans and track progress over time, supporting continued strength, balance, and independence.
