Jenna Meyer joined Christian Care in 2007. She has been a vital part of our leadership over the past 12 years. As the Administrator in our Health Center, Jenna and her team, have successfully maintained a Five Star Rating with CMS and one of the lowest readmission rates in the state. In her new role, Jenna will oversee the skilled service lines at Christian Care. This includes our Home Health Services, and our Outpatient Rehab Center. Jenna will utilize her experience to further improve quality of care, and service at these venues.

“Christian Care is dedicated to providing quality care and a fulfilling lifestyle to those we serve. In the long term and skilled setting, it can be challenging to meet both the demands of the regulators, and the expectations of the customer.” says Jami Gross, Executive Director. “By bringing our most challenging lines under Jenna’s direction, she will have a pulse on the greatest quality drivers and indicators. She will be able to manage these departments as a whole. Over time, we have realized that our low readmission rate is directly tied to the resources we have on our campus. From skilled nursing to home health, to outpatient services, we are able to provide a continuum of care, that helps keep our residents home, on our campus”

Heath Van Gysel has been a part of the Christian Care Leadership for the past four years, where he has served as Director of Nursing. He has over 25 years of experience in long-term care, and brings extensive knowledge and talent to his new role. Van Gysel will oversee Christian Care’s, Manor Assisted Living, Oasis at Fellowship Square, and Reflections Memory Care, where he will focus on Operations, Quality Care, Hospitality, and Customer Service.

“The backbone of assisted living has always been hospitality and service. The most successful companies find the balance of providing a home-like setting, where healthcare is partnered with amenities and services.” says Jami Gross. “On our campus, we find that Assisted Living fills the gap between Independent Living and Skilled nursing. 99% of our assisted living residents started as independent residents. The quality of service we provide is vital to our success, as our residents move through the many levels of care on our campus. Heath has a passion for creating a care based and service-rich culture. His skillset and vision have helped create a place, that not only feels like home for our residents, but also offers the clinical excellence they deserve.”
